Story
Set five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows Cal Kestis, one of the last surviving Jedi Knights in a galaxy controlled by the Empire. Now a powerful Jedi Knight, Cal has been fighting the good fight against the Empire with his loyal companions, but as the darkness grows, he finds himself pushed to the edges of the galaxy where he encounters new threats.
As the Empire's pursuit of Cal intensifies, he must confront the mysteries of his past, explore new and unfamiliar worlds, and forge unexpected alliances in his desperate fight to restore the fallen Jedi Order. The game delves deeper into Cal's character as he struggles with the weight of being one of the last Jedi and questions what it truly means to be a survivor in a galaxy ruled by darkness.
Gameplay
Jedi: Survivor builds upon the Metroidvania-inspired gameplay of its predecessor while adding significant new combat and traversal features. Cal now has access to five distinct lightsaber stances, each with its own combat style and advantages: Single, Dual-Wield, Double-Bladed, Crossguard, and a stance where Cal wields both a lightsaber and blaster.

- Enhanced Traversal: New movement options including climbing, grappling, taming and riding creatures, and ascension cables.

The game features more open-ended environments than its predecessor, with hub areas like the settlement of Rambler's Reach offering a place to rest, customize gear, and interact with companions. Combat encounters are more varied, with a wider range of enemy types and challenging boss battles that test both reflexes and strategy.

Built on the Unreal Engine, Jedi: Survivor pushes the boundaries of current-gen hardware with photorealistic character models, stunning environments, and fluid animations.
